Due to popular demand, the Red River 100 is coming back in 2025!
The Red River 100 (RR100) is a 100 kilometer (~62 miles) ultra distance paddling race on the Red River beginning in Ste Agathe, Manitoba and ending down river in Lockport, Manitoba. The RR100 is a two-day staged race where participants paddle from Ste Agathe to St Vital Park in Winnipeg on day one and then on day two participants join in with the Red River Paddle Challenge paddlers and paddle to Lockport.
RR100 participants are ranked within the RR100 (combined time from both days) and also the RRPC, so essentially competing in two races over the weekend! Prizes are awarded for both races. Please read through the following pages for complete details:
The priority of our event is safety. The unpredictable prairie weather and the river itself will provide ample challenge. Our other goals include making the race challenging but welcoming to competitors of many skill levels. Spending time on the Red River is rewarding and we hope our event reminds all who take part the true importance of this waterway.
